Meine Antwort auf Dein Posting kommt zwar hinterher wie die alte Fasnacht aber
evtl. koennte es hilfreich sein.

brec(1) and bplay(1) by David Monro);
   * Handling of large sound files up to a few GB;
   * Signal peak level meter during recording;
   * Playback of user-specifiable parts of sound files;

   * Nine filters (filter types, actually) are supplied, new ones can be added

Hardware zum Aufzeichnen gibt es ja problemlos ueber Google. Mangels
entsprechendem Gehoer kann ich zu keinem etwas sagen, denke mir aber das diese
Loesung deutlich preiswerter sein duerfte als ein kommerzieller Anbieter.
